Create and Publish an Event

Run capacity-based classes and events that customers can register for, separate from one-on-one appointments.

Last updated July 16, 2026

Events let you run capacity-based classes, workshops, and group sessions that customers register for — distinct from one-on-one appointments. Events are a Pro-plan feature and are currently in beta.

Turn Events on

Events use a two-step gate:

  1. Your plan must include Events (Pro).
  2. Turn the feature on in Settings → Events (it's off by default while in beta).

Once both are true, the Events tab appears in your admin navigation with a Beta badge.

Create an event

  1. Open the Events tab and create a new event.
  2. Set the title, description, and capacity (how many seats per session).
  3. Optionally set a price and unit — this flows into each attendee's billing.
  4. Choose the schedule: a single date, or a recurring series (for example, a weekly class). Recurring events generate sessions on a rolling schedule.
  5. Decide whether customers can register online and whether registrations require your approval.

How registration works

  • Each registration reserves a seat at booking time, up to the session's capacity.
  • Every registration also creates a per-attendee appointment behind the scenes, so you can invoice, send agreements, and remind attendees using the same tools as regular appointments.
  • If you require approval, the seat is still reserved — approval only affects whether the attendee's appointment is confirmed or stays requested.
  • Payment is invoice-later: registration never blocks on payment, and you can invoice attendees afterward.

Publish it

Turn on online registration to let customers find and register through their portal or your intake flow. You can also add or remove attendees manually from the event roster.

Common questions

  • I don't see the Events tab. Confirm you're on Pro and that Events is switched on in Settings → Events.
  • Can someone book more than one seat? Registration is one seat per person in this version.
  • How do reminders work for events? Events can have their own reminder settings, or inherit your appointment reminders. See Set up appointment reminders.
