Understand the messages PaceCount sends, who gets them, and how to control each one.
Last updated July 16, 2026
PaceCount sends notifications to keep you and your customers informed as bookings move through their lifecycle. You control which messages send from Settings → Notifications.
Two audiences
Notifications are organized by who receives them:
- Customer — confirmations, reminders, and updates about their own appointments and paperwork.
- Admin — alerts to you and your team, such as when a customer signs a service agreement.
Each notification type has its own toggle, so you can turn individual messages on or off per audience.
Common notification types
- Appointment confirmations and updates
- Reminders before appointments and payment due dates
- Intake and verification emails (the sign-in link a new customer receives)
- Service agreement ready-to-sign and signed confirmations
Channels
Depending on your plan and setup, notifications can go out by email, in-app, and text message. Email works on every plan; SMS is available on higher plans.
Customize the look
You can preview and adjust the email theme so notifications match your brand. Combined with branding, your customers get a consistent, professional experience.
Common questions
- A customer said they didn't get an email. Ask them to check spam, and confirm the relevant notification toggle is on in Settings → Notifications.
- Can I stop a specific email without turning off everything? Yes. Each type has its own toggle per audience.
