Scheduling

Advanced Scheduling Overview

Set recurring weekly hours, time off, and booking limits per person — and optionally show customers only the times you're free.

Advanced Scheduling (available on the Pro plan) gives you a recurring weekly schedule with time off for yourself and each team member. Turn it on in Settings → Scheduling.

What you can set

For yourself or any staff member:

  • Weekly hours — the specific windows you work each weekday (for example, 8:00–12:00 and 1:00–5:00 on Tuesdays).
  • Time off — date ranges you're unavailable, with an optional reason.
  • Buffers, daily capacity, and notice — optional limits so you're never over-booked or booked at the last minute.

Set a schedule

  • Your own schedule: open My Availability from the calendar.
  • A staff member's schedule: go to the Staff tab and choose Manage Availability for that person.

When a job is assigned to someone, PaceCount checks it against that person's real schedule and warns you (or blocks it) if it falls outside their hours or during time off.

An important detail

If you never configure a weekly schedule, you're treated as fully available — turning Advanced Scheduling on won't accidentally hide you. To actually narrow availability, enter your weekly hours.

Show customers only times you're free

With Advanced Scheduling on and at least one person's hours configured, you can enable gated availability for your Get Started page so customers only see times someone can serve. If no one has hours set, gating stays inactive so customers never see an empty calendar. It's always request-then-confirm.
