How do I get a branded customer intake link?

Turn on your Get Started page, share your branded intake link, and let customers request service without a complex CRM.

Share one branded Get Started (intake) link so customers pick a service, add details, and submit a request while you work. No complex CRM required — every legitimate request also grows your owned customer list. This guide turns intake on and explains how customers propose times.

How does PaceCount customer intake work?

Customer intake is your public Get Started page. Customers open your link, choose a service, provide details (and photos on Essentials+), and submit. Submissions arrive as requests you confirm — intake never auto-books.

Step 1 — Choose your workspace mode

Your workspace mode decides whether customers can reach you at all. Set it in Settings → Workspace Mode. If intake seems "off," check this first — Admin Only hides the intake page entirely. See Choosing your workspace mode.

Step 2 — Configure the Get Started page

Open the Get Started Page tab:

  • Turn intake on with the master toggle.
  • Decide whether to ask for a preferred date.
  • Customize the steps, service selection, and messaging customers see.
  • Share your intake link using the share card.

Step 3 — Decide how customers pick times

  • Open requests (default): customers propose any open date within your booking window; you confirm.
  • Gated availability: the page only offers times someone could serve. Requires Advanced Scheduling (Pro) with weekly hours set. See Advanced scheduling overview.

Step 4 — Add guardrails (optional)

Common questions

Why can't customers book?

Confirm workspace mode is not Admin Only, and that the Get Started page master toggle is on.

How do I get fewer bad-fit requests?

Turn on the service area radius and consider gated availability.

Do customers need an account?

No — Booking Funnel mode lets customers request service without signing up.
