Getting Started
Your First Week Checklist
A short, ordered checklist to get your PaceCount workspace ready to take real bookings.
Last updated July 16, 2026
You don't need to configure everything at once. This checklist orders setup so you can start taking bookings quickly, then layer on the extras.
Day 1 — The essentials
- Add your business details. Company name, contact email, phone, and address power your portal and any paperwork. Set these in Settings.
- Set your working hours. Tell PaceCount when you normally work in Settings → Scheduling. See Set your availability.
- Pick your workspace mode. Decide how customers reach you — funnel, portal, or admin only. See Choosing your workspace mode.
Day 2–3 — Open for bookings
- Turn on customer intake. Configure and publish your Get Started page. See Going live with customer intake.
- Block days you're off. Add vacations and holidays so they never get booked. See Block days off.
- Set up reminders. Reduce no-shows with automatic reminders. See Set up appointment reminders.
When you're ready — Get paid and grow
- Connect Stripe to collect deposits and send invoices. See Connect Stripe to take payments.
- Add pricing to your services if it helps your quotes. See Set up service pricing.
- Invite your team if you have staff. See Invite and manage staff.
- Make it yours. Add your logo and colors. See Customize your branding.
Tip
Nothing here is required to take a booking. Start simple — hours, a workspace mode, and intake — and come back for payments, staff, and branding when you're ready.
