How PaceCount Connects to Your Tools
What PaceCount connects to — Stripe for payments, e-signatures for agreements, and QuickBooks for payroll hours — who sets each up, and what stays inside PaceCount.
Last updated July 24, 2026
PaceCount connects to a few trusted services so you can take payments, get agreements signed, and hand clean hours to your payroll system. Here's what each connection does, who sets it up, and what stays inside PaceCount.
The three connections at a glance
- Stripe — collects deposits and invoice payments from your customers. Money goes straight to your own account.
- E-signatures — sends service agreements and forms for customers to sign, without leaving PaceCount.
- QuickBooks — exports your team's approved hours as a file you import into QuickBooks payroll.
Stripe — customer payments
When you connect payments, PaceCount uses Stripe to move money, and your customers' payments go directly to your own account — PaceCount never holds your funds. You connect once from Settings → Payments and finish a short business-verification step, then deposits and invoicing turn on. Payouts, your bank account, and refunds are managed in your Stripe dashboard.
Payments require a paid plan. See Connect Stripe to take payments and Send and track invoices.
E-signatures — agreements and forms
Service agreements and signature forms are powered by an e-signature service behind the scenes, but you never leave PaceCount to use them. You build a template in Settings → Service Agreements (or ask PaceCount to build one for you), then generate an agreement right from an appointment. Your business and job details fill in automatically, the customer signs, and the signed PDF is saved to your workspace.
E-signatures are available on Essentials and Pro. See How service agreements work and Set up service agreements.
QuickBooks — payroll hours (export only)
PaceCount is the system of record for your team's field labor: clock time, jobs, and approvals. QuickBooks still runs payroll — taxes, net pay, and pay runs. The connection is a one-way export: you approve hours in PaceCount, download a timesheet file, and import it into QuickBooks payroll.
This is intentionally not a live, two-way sync. PaceCount does not log into your QuickBooks account, and your Stripe invoices do not sync into QuickBooks accounting. See Export hours to QuickBooks.
Common questions
- Do I have to connect all three? No. Use whichever fit your business, in any order. Scheduling and intake work with none of them connected.
- Where does my money go? Straight to your own Stripe account. PaceCount does not hold or route your funds.
- Does PaceCount sync my invoices into QuickBooks? No. QuickBooks is used only to import payroll hours; invoicing and accounting stay separate.
